John 16:13-15 (NASB)
But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine; therefore I said that He takes of Mine and will disclose it to you.
Have you ever wished that you could go back and spend time with Jesus while he was on this earth? Well, Jesus himself it was better for him to leave and the Holy Spirit to come!
As fully God and fully man, Jesus was limited in his earthly body. He couldn’t be in more than once place at a time, and talking to more than one person at a time. The Holy Spirit as a supernatural being does not have those limitations!
John 16:7 (NASB)
But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you.
Think about this! Having the Holy Spirit inside us is better than having Jesus beside us! Through the ministry of the Holy Spirit every believer alive on this earth has full access to everything from the Father, including everything provided through his son, Jesus.
