Remembering The Covenant

At the cross, God cut a blood covenant with us, and He sacrificed His own Son to do it. Jesus’ broken body and shed blood have become the eternal proof of God’s love for you and me. Your sins have been forgiven and you have become the righteousness of God in Christ!

Hebrews 8:10, 12 (NKJV)
For this is the covenant that I will make… I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.

Here’s a prayer that you can pray every day to remind yourself of the forgiveness you have received through Christ:

Dear Father, I thank you for the cross of Jesus. I thank You that today, because of Jesus’ blood, I have been forgiven of all my sins – past, present, and future. Today, You are merciful to my unrighteousness, and all my sins and lawless deeds, You will remember no more. You see me as completely righteous, not because of what I have done, but because of Jesus. I am greatly blessed, highly favored, and deeply loved by You. Amen.
