Genesis 1:27-28 (KJV)
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

In Hebrew, the phrase “be fruitful and multiply” means to increase and have abundance in very way.

When God speaks blessing, His words release the power to bring that blessing to pass. That’s why the blessing God spoke over mankind in Genesis 1:28 is so significant – God’s declaration actually empowers mankind to increase and experience abundance in very way!
