And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength.

What then are appropriate physical expressions of worship? Does God give us the right to pick and choose? Or is there a right way, or a way that He would prefer…?

The key to knowing the appropriate response in worship comes back to remembering why we do it in the first place… we worship in response to who God is, and what He’s done and is doing – because of His manifest glory.

Our culture, our personality, or our church background doesn’t determine what God’s glory looks like – God does that! He reveals Himself, and our worship is a response to His glory… so our physical expressions in worship need to be motivated by God’s glory, not our preferences our backgrounds.
