We encourage you to visit our church as many times as you want and allow the Holy Spirit to show you if Solid Rock is the right church for you. We would love to welcome you into our church family!
We are made up of people who are from all walks of life and who are at different places in their relationships with God. There’s a good chance you’ll meet people just like yourself! Solid Rock Church is a blend of brand-new believers and established, mature Christians. We are everyone from business owners to school bus drivers to homemakers, and most importantly we are people hungry for more of God in our lives.
GUEST SERVICES
Our guest services team will be at the doors waiting to greet you. If you have any questions about where to go or what is going to take place next in service, don’t hesitate to ask a member of the team!
THE POST
One of the first things you’ll notice when you come through our doors is the bookstore located in our foyer, called The Post. The Post is a faith-building retail space that offers new Bibles, books, music, magazines, kid’s materials, study guides, and Christian lifestyle gifts and accessories. The Post opens each Sunday at 9:30 am, and stays open until approximately 10:15, then opens again after our Sunday worship service. The Post is of course open to anyone in our community, including people who may want to shop for themselves or for gifts before they attend their own church service.
SOLID ROCK CAFE
The second thing you’ll notice if you come in the door early is that the coffee is on! We serve coffee and refreshments before each Sunday service in the Fireside room, just off the side of our Foyer. You can come as early as 9:30 and grab a coffee, visit with a friend, or make some new friends!
THE CHURCH SERVICE
The atmosphere of our services is relaxed and leans more towards the contemporary style of worship. Our service begins at 10:30 a.m. and normally lasts to approximately noon. Our praise and worship is energetic. If you know the songs, feel free to sing along, but it’s completely ok if you just want to take it all in as well. Also one of the things that you’ll soon notice when you come to Solid Rock is that there is no dress code; people at our church like to wear what they’re comfortable in!
Pastor Cam Hart is our senior pastor. He delivers messages that show how God’s Word applies directly to everything in our lives! If you have any questions about the sermon, Pastor Cam or another of our leaders would be happy to chat with you after the service has completed.
We always have an opportunity for people to have someone else pray for them after the sermon. If you have a need in your life that you would like someone to pray with you about, come up front once we’ve been dismissed and a member of our prayer team will come right over.
SOLID ROCK KIDS
We have several designated areas for your children. Our nursery (for parents with infants) is located to the left down the hallway to our main auditorium. In the Fireside Room to the left of our foyer we have a staffed Toddler Room for children ages 2-4. Solid Rock Kids is for children ages 5 through 6th grades, and they meet in the Fireside Room after the worship (music & singing) portion of our Sunday service.
GIVING
During our Sunday morning services, we typically take up what we call an “offering”. This is an opportunity for people who attend our church to give some of their finances to God through their local church. This money is used for missions, community outreach, ministries and programs, and funds all operations of Solid Rock. Please feel no pressure to give, especially if you are visiting our church! However, if you feel you want to contribute financially to our church, we welcome your gift and God bless you!
YOUTH
